Scene 1: “Out of a Coma and into Insanity”.

Description: A young man wakes out of a coma. He knows nothing of his former life, until he is greeted by his parents. The young man learns that his amnesia is a result of a terrible motor cycle accident. His parents introduce him to a friend of the family, unusual woman named Eleanor, who is here to help him. He notices immediately her supernatural aura of beauty and authority. After his parents leave, Eleanor explains to him that he is Fae and opens his eyes to a new world. He takes comfort in purpose and a new identity, as Eleanor knights him “Sir Thorn, Knight of High Ground” Exploring this other realm, Thorn follows Eleanor to the Amorica, a floating castle in the sky. Life gets stranger and stranger as he meet creatures and people of fantasy and legend.

Scene 2 “Otherworld Other Battles”

Within hours of arrival , Thorn learns that a war will soon break between the people of this strange land and an Aztec Blood Goddess, bent to stop a ritual involving the Holy Grail. Suspending disbelief, Thorn clings to his identity. Kneeling, Torn swears to his new patron, “If you die this day, it will only be because I have already fallen.” Together they depart to an even stranger world the Nightmare Realm. Taking in all that he has learned in the last 7hrs, Thorn takes a deep breath and braces himself for the battle ahead. Within moments of their arrival, Eleanor is called away, leaving Thorn behind. He battles bravely alongside great heroes, including the Gypsy King and Pinocchio. Thorn plays an instrumental part in defeating the Aztec forces in the Nightmare realm. Decisively, Thorn assassinates a shaman, who had been reweaving the Nightmare Realm. He leaves mourning the loss of his companion Pinocchio, but feeling proud of victory.

Scene 3 “ Battle Won, the War is Lost.”

Returning to the Amorica, Thorn learns that the Blood Goddess won and that the world is plunging into an Apocalypse. The other Fae are returning to their home world, called the Autumn Realm. Thorn becomes dismayed by his peers' lack of responsibility to the World of Man, struggling with his duty to Eleanor; he reluctantly remains behind to inspire humanity.

Scene 3 “Hit the Street”

After battling for several months on his own, with little success, Thorn rejoins his fellow Fae in the Autumn World. Unlike others, Thorn does not find this world to be a paradise, as perfection is unchallenging. Returning to the World of Man, Thorn witnesses a group of human survivors battling against hordes of zombies. Calling to the humans below and extending his angelic wings, Thorn proclaims, “Hear me, Men below for I am Thorn Weavers-bane. There is no retreat from this enemy, for this enemy seeks an end to existence itself. There is no surrender. There is no quit. There is only victory! Let us be a lance that strikes into the Heart of Dark. We are Black Lancers. Never Surrender! Never Die!” The collective survivors below, no longer former postal workers, farmers, cops, and plumbers; become forged into the Black Lancers Militia. Accepting their commission into Thorn's army, they yell back, “Never Surrender, Never Die.”

Scene 4 “Moments Peace”

Forming a coalition bent on saving the world, Thorn and his Black Lancer Militia join with other various supernatural creatures, onboard twin floating cities Amorica and Alabaster. With the Aztec Blood Goddess defeated, for the first time since awakening from his comma, Thorn has a moment to relax. Within a moment of peace, Thorn begins to wonder about life outside of conflict. Why cannot he remember anything before meeting Eleanor? What is there other than duty and fighting? His troubled thoughts are interrupted by the sound of Eleanor's approach. Looking up at Eleanor, Thorn listens as she begins, “I've been speaking with our Queen and it seems she enjoys your company.” “I've been proud to serve as her bodyguard,” Thorn responds. “No Thorn, I mean she has taken a fancy to you.” Having been ambushed by Love and feeling insecure for the first time, Thorn blushes. Wiping away his insecurity, Thorn responds, “Really, I'm more of a fighting man.”
