Pay Parking. If you don't mind paying for parking you can use the two lots in front of the IMU. Their rates are as follows:
The Indiana Memorial Union also has two pay lots. Lot 1 is located immediately to the east of the building. Lot 2 is located to the north, just across Seventh Street. Overnight guests of the Indiana Memorial Union Biddle Hotel & Conference Center enjoy complimentary parking.
Get validated for lower cost parking. Union customers, be sure to bring your parking ticket in for validation! Validation reduces the rates significantly. The following rates are effective as of August 20, 2007:

Free Parking. You can park in the Poplars and 11th & Fee garages on campus during the weekend for free. I have checked this with Parking Operations at IU.
Poplars Garage is located off 6th Street between Grant Street and Dunn Street. It is also across the street from the Runcible Spoon.
The 11th & Fee Garage is located at the corner of 11th Street and Fee Lane. It is across the street from the HPER. Both garages are a 7-10 minute walk to the Union. Since we are running from Noon-6:30 pm, the walk to and from the garages should be safe.
I encourage you to carpool and share the walk.
