First Game Announcement: "The First Gathering"
WHEN: Sunday, February 10th; Check-in: Noon-1:45 pm; Game: 2-6 pm; Wrap-Up: 6-6:30 pm.
WHERE: Indiana Memorial Union, Student Activities Tower, Bryan and Fletchall Rooms. (To access an online IMU map go to Dining Services at the IMU. Scroll down and click on Find dining options on the Union map. To park at the IMU, for a fee, go to Directions & Parking. For free parking information, go to Parking Garages and look at the locatios 11th and Fee and Poplars.)
WHY-IC: This will be the first gathering of the fae since the disappearances on Samhain 2007. This will be the first time Bloomington fae will be able to talk with one another and share their experiences and ideas about the new feel to Bloomington Valley (Bloomington, IN).

"The fae gathered in Blooming Valley for the first time since Samhain 2007. The horrible headaches and sickness that had plagued the fae were gone, thanks to the efforts of Lady Eleanor Elise. The fae gathered in the only remaining Freehold, Tower Hold. It had once been a might freehold, but had been diminished in strength, giving off less glamour for the fae to feed upon. Lady Eleanor had been given authority by Queen Mary Elizabeth to lead the investigation of what had happened in Blooming Valley.
Not only were there fae at this meeting - kindred, known sometimes as vampires - joined the gathering. One had given Lady Eleanor a ring, saying that when she had figured out the mystery around it, he would help her. Another claimed to be God's messiah and prophet and said that he could help the fae enter Heaven. In fact, the reason the fae were gone was because they went to Heaven. Apparently this was also true for other supernatural creatures as the kindred and garou (werewolves) had also vanished. The area affected was the mortal city of Bloomington and the 2-mile strip around it.
Those that gathered in Tower Hold had either been out of the city during Samhain 2007 or had arrived in the city after that day. Also joining the meeting were the fae from Forest Woods, including the baron. Two other members of nobility, the Baroness Baum and Baroness Baum, came walking out of the balefire from their studies on Saturn.
Now everyone has joined together to discover what has happened and how we can rebuild."
