Insiration/Quote for the Month
"Break On Through" by the DoorsYou know the day destroys the night,
Night divides the day;
Tried to run. Tried to hide
Break on thru to the other side, break on thru
We chased our pleasures here,
Dug our treasures there
Can you still recall the time we cried?
Break on thru to the other side, break on thru
I found an island in your arms,
A country in your eyes,
Arms that chain, eyes that lie
Break on thru ...etc.
Made the scene from week to week,
Day to day, hour to hour,
The gate is straight, deep and wide
Break on thru ...etc.
Break. Break. Break. Break

Note that this summary has been written by Margaret L. and reflects her understanding of the game.
"Beltaine is a high holiday for the fae. So this year, six months after the disappearances that occurred in Samhain 2007, the fae were determined, or at least Steward Eleanor Elise, was determined to have a joyous and powerful Beltaine.
Thanks to the work of Baroness Elphaba Baum ap Eiluned, a ritual was created to bring back the power of the Buskirk-Chumley and restore its balefire. Elphaba lead the ritual with the citizens of Blooming Valley - including garou, mages, fae, and kyasid - and the ritual was a success! The balefire was relit and glamour and beauty poured back into the theater.
There was then celebration for all to enjoy and food and drink was presented. Spirits were high, not just because of the successful ritual but all much joy was created during the dancing of the May Pole.
It seems that earlier in the day the men were bitten by the need to mate with the women and many of them pursued certain individual women most persistently throughout the afternoon.
Doyle, the cat pooka, decided he needed to investigate the movie that had be continuously playing in the Buskirk-Chumley. The movie was "Grand Hotel". Doyle lept into the movie and after a few hours reemerged none the worse for wear.
The day, though joyous, did end on a sad note as Baron Gabriel Moonstar ap Beaumayne was shot with a cold iron bullet. His mortal body lays in a coma and his fae mein has fallen from him."
