Game Summary

Note that this summary has been written by Margaret L. and reflects her understanding of the game.

"Samhain came to Blooming Valley, met with open eyes and fearlessly by the citizens who now lived in the city. Last Samhain all supernatural creatures had vanished. Many wondered if this would happen to them again. Citizens gathered in Tower Hold and prepared for the night.

As the sun began to set, Fred the Messiah, (LitM Wiki; Fred's Blog) felt the urge to sing the songs he had been "collecting" for the past few months. Citizens heard a woman's voice sing with him and then a woman dressed in cat print appeared and announced that she was God and that we should all sing along. So several citizens did and then a doorway opened to another realm taking the citizens to the Shadowlands.

In the Shadowlands, the gathering were met by a sluagh who told them that their sisters and brothers from Blooming Valley were still in the Shadowlands and had been brought there last Samhain. Many followed the sluagh to a mausoleum and when they entered they found a powerful Giovanni with many "pets" who was holding citizens of Blooming Valley hostage. Several fought the vampire and her henchman, known only as the Sergeant. Many were harmed - a troll was wounded and a garou was made to act as a lap dog. Finally though the brave combatants, taking much banality, killed the Sergeant and weakened the vampire enough to cause her to fade away.

Having survive the battle, the gathering began to walk again searching through the Shadowlands so they find a way home. Elphaba felt a pull back to Blooming Valley and as they followed her "tether" they came to a stone wall. The other side of the wall was clearly the way back to Blooming Valley yet the wall itself was impenetrable. In front of the wall stood a tombstone that read "Here lies Fred the Messiah." Graffiti on the tombstone also read " He saved the world. A lot." More graffiti read "He died for our shins." Next to the tombstone were nine inch nails and a cross.

Fred felt that this was the sacrifice he had to make to God in order to help the fae, or "nephilim" as he called them. He allowed a troll and an octopus pooka to nail him to the cross while a redcap crowned him with her red feathered pirate hat. The sacrifice worked for the wall opened and the gathering found themselves able to step into Tower Hold. (Though it is believed that the Garou, Spirit Talker, is still trapped in the Shadowlands.)

Back in Tower Hold the fae felt they had not partied enough for Samhain and Elphaba called a party at her house.

What is most disturbing for the fae is that they all remember Samhain. This is unheard of unless you are Shadow Court. Investigation of this phenomona is sure to commence."
