Arcadia! (for those who missed last game)

In the last month, news has been sweeping faekind like a wildfire.

The mysterious enormous trees really are a magical gateway, or rather a path. A few destined Ghille Dhu, including Billy, have given up their existence as individuals to become full aspects of the World Tree. Each branch of each tree goes to some point in the Umbral Realms, including points in the Dreaming and even - perhaps - Arcadia. For those willing to make the dangerous climb, the possibility of new adventure awaits.

Accompanying this news is another bombshell. Some of the Garou (including the well-known ambassador to the fae Patricia Walker) know of a Gateway to Arcadia with the Umbral Realms. True Fae there, it is told, believe that no fae survived the Shattering on Earth, but there does lie a gateway there, straight into Arcadia. The Garou were Geased to keep this secret lest they wither and perish, unless and until the end of the world was upon the Earth. And now, that is becoming true... and so the secret is revealed.
Patricia and several other Garou and fae guardians - including a number of Redcaps, Fiona Sidhe, and some of the few remaining Eshu - have made the offer to escort fae through the dangers of the Umbra to the Gateway. It is said the journey will be difficult, but surely safer for the vulnerable than staying on a world that may soon perish. But many are choosing to stay and fight back against the Dauntain, hunters, and Banality plaguing Europe and the chaos enveloping Africa and America.

What sort of future do those who stay face?

OOC: We presented this choice to everyone at the last game: Stay Gaia-side and fight, facing the end of the world, or travel to Arcadia and see what perils wrought the Umbra, perhaps making a charge against different aspects of threats to the world on the way. We were prepared to run the remaining months of game either way, but the unanimous decision was to stay. If your character would leave for Arcadia, let us know and we can run a separate resolution with you.

There were other things that happened last game, but the rest you will have to ask your fellow players about. :)
